Kaushik Narayanun
Kaushik Narayanun started his volunteer journey as a member of Interact Club during his middle school years. Having benefited from the goodwill of others to support his education, Kaushik has always believed in giving back to the impoverished in the community, especially the young. Liberation of the economically downtrodden through education is a passion that has driven Kaushik to engage in various volunteering opportunities including Board roles. Since co-founding Aram Sei, Kaushik has donned roles in Event Management, Project selection, Operations, Fundraising and Finance. Kaushik believes that giving back should be a lifestyle choice, one he hopes to instill in his young son and other youngsters. Kaushik Narayanun is a VP of Engineering at Nvidia.
Sandeep Goli
Sandeep Goli was born and raised in India through the 80s and 90s. At the age of 10, he started attending Saint School Korukonda which is a school system designed to groom and mould young students into future leaders in the Indian Military Services. This experience influenced Sandeep’s interest in mentorship, sports and volunteering. Taking a keen interest in mentoring his juniors at school and later college, Sandeep has contributed in developing their skills in sports, academics and other extracurricular activities. In 2000, Sandeep moved to the USA to pursue higher education and has since been working in the Silicon Bay Area in the technology sector. Over the past 20 years, Sandeep has had the good fortune to give back to the community as a member of ASHA foundation as well as a driving volunteering events at work at food banks, soup kitchen and environmental causes. He is currently an Engineering Manager at Meta and is actively mentoring professionals in the software field.
Anna Yang
As Santa Clara County’s Youth Poet Laureate, Anna speaks on poetry’s emancipatory power for TEDxYouth, Alliance for Girls, Attorney General Rob Bonta’s inauguration, among others. She founded the Journals of Justice 501(c)(3) to amplify youth voices in social justice through journalism. Her writing has been widely recognized, including by the New York Times, Poetry Society of the UK, and KQED. As a beekeeper, Anna teaches bee conservation to the community, established Taylor St Farm’s first urban hive, rescues local swarms, and researched an ML-driven solution to queen failure. At school, she leads the student newspaper, AAPI Coalition, Girls Who Code, and Model UN. Anna is a Regeneron STS Scholar, Coca-Cola Scholar, and Coolidge Senator.
